IPTV Setup Troubleshooting Tips
Practical solutions to resolve internet provider (ISP) blocks, app cache buildup, and audio/video synchronization on any streaming device.
How to Resolve ISP Bandwidth Throttling
Some internet providers (e.g. Comcast, Spectrum, AT&T) throttle IPTV traffic during peak sports hours. If you experience unexpected stuttering, simply connect through a reliable VPN (ExpressVPN, NordVPN, Surfshark) set to a nearby US city.
Clearing App Cache for Faster Navigation
Over time, EPG data builds up in app cache. In your TV or Firestick settings, go to Applications > Manage Installed Applications > iScreenHD / Smarters > Clear Cache to keep channel switching lightning fast.
Audio / Video Out of Sync Fix
In player settings (like Smarters or TiviMate), switch the audio decoder from "Hardware" to "Software" or vice versa to restore synchronization.
